Baking soda


  • ¼ cup of white vinegar
  • 4 cups hot water
  • ½ cup of Epsom salt
  • ½ a cup of baking soda
  • ¼ cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide

Method of preparation and use:

Combine the Epsom salt with the baking soda. Add the vinegar and the hydrogen peroxide. Stir well. Soak your affected area in this solution for 10 minutes. Rinse it off with water and pat it dry. Repeat the procedure for several weeks. 

Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is full of citric acid that contains antiseptic and antifungal properties. Just apply it on your toenail and leave it like that for 30 minutes. Then, wash your feet and pat them dry. You can also apply some olive oil on the nail. Repeat the procedure several times every day until you’ve noticed the fungus has started to disappear.

Apple cider vinegar


  • ½ cup of water
  • ½ cup of apple cider vinegar

Method of preparation and use:

This is an amazing acidic remedy that will destroy all the bacteria and fungi and in that way prevent the spreading. Mix both of the ingredients well and soak in it for 30 minutes. Rinse it away and pat it dry.

Listerine mouthwash

Listerine mouthwash is amazing against toenail fungus! Just soak your nail in some Listerine and then scrub the affected area. Try not to hurt it! Rinse off your feet and pat it dry. This procedure should be repeated 2 times a day and the fungus will disappear!

Tea tree oil


  • 1 teaspoon of coconut / olive oil
  • Several drops of tea tree oil

Method of preparation and use:

Tea tree oil is abundant in very powerful antiseptic and antifungal properties that will help you destroy the fungi. Mix the ingredients well and soak a cotton bud in them. Apply it on your toenail. Let it stay on it for 10 minutes. Then, rinse it away. This procedure should be repeated 3 times a day.

Orange oil

Orange oil is full of very powerful antifungal properties, but it should be avoided by people who have allergies.

Just apply some of the oil on the toenail. Leave it to stay for half an hour and rinse it off. Repeat this procedure 3 times a day.

Note: make sure you’re persistent when you use orange oil since it’s not as effective as the previous ones.

Garlic oil

Mix equal amounts of white vinegar and garlic oil. Apply it on the problematic area. Wrap the toenail using a bandage. Let it stay like that for several hours. Then, remove the bandage, rinse it off and repeat the process.

Prepare your own garlic oil at home! Just crush 2 garlic cloves and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Drain the oil after several hours. Note: make sure you only use 2 cloves every day.

Lavender oil


  • 5 drops of tea tree oil
  • 5 drops of lavender oil

Method of preparation and use:

Mix the two oils and apply the mixture with a cotton pad. Let it act for 10 minutes. Then, rinse it off. Repeat the process 2 or 3 times a day.

Oil of oregano


  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 2 drops of oregano oil

Method of preparation and use:

Combine the 2 ingredients and then apply this mixture on the nail with fungus. Leave it to act for 30 minutes. After that, rinse it off and pat it dry. Repeat this procedure once or 2 times a day for 3 weeks.

White vinegar

Mixing warm water with some white vinegar will help you restore the pH value to your skin. The infection will stop spreading. Just combine 2 parts of warm water with 1 part of white vinegar. Put it on the affected toenail. Let it act for 10 or 15 minutes. Rinse it off and then pat it dry. You can use this mixture 2 times a day and the fungus will be gone forever!
